What is Poster?
Poster allows you to manage and make posts to one or more services from your desktop. At present, it supports the following:

Poster Version 0.2

Windows 2000/XP*

poster_0.2.zip (10MB)

System requirements: Internet connection, IE6 or above, Java Runtime 5 or above, at least 20MB free disk space. (Visit http://www.java.com to download a Java runtime environment, if you do not have one already installed.

To install, simply unpack the .zip file to "Program Files" (or the directory of your choice). To launch Poster, double-click on "poster.exe" within the Poster directory.

* Poster has not been tested on Windows Vista. I don't foresee any problems with it, but I would appreciate feedback from anyone who has tried it.


Mac OS X 10.4*

Poster 0.2.dmg (13MB)

System requirements: Internet connection, at least 13MB free disk space.

To install, download the .dmg and double-click on it to mount. Open the mounted disk image that appears on your desktop, and drag the "Poster" icon to your "Applications" directory. To launch Poster, double-click on that icon.

* Poster has not been tested on OS X 10.5 (Leopard). Again, I don't foresee any problems with it, but I would appreciate feedback from anyone who has tried it.
